Chris grew up in the 70s and 80s and listened to everything everyone else was listening to: Elvis, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Doors, The Who, Doobie Bros, CSNY, Jethro Tull, Savoy Brown, Zeppelin, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Eagles, Santana, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Aretha Franklin, Spirit, Hendrix, Elton John, David Bowie, Heart, Foreigner, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Van Halen, Steely Dan, Peter Gabriel, Chris Isaak, Eurhythmics, Talking Heads, U2, Springsteen, The Police, Simple Minds, etc.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Huge influence. Guy just does whatever he wants and he is pure rock, outside any mainstream genre.

Chris has been heavily influenced by too many artists to list - "I always responded to non formulaic and innovative Rock N Roll, British Blues, Acoustic Rock, Country Rock, anthemic power Rock, and 80's new wave". "If I were to pluck one album out of the mix to take to a deserted island it might be Quadrophenia. I love the emphasis on pure rock, composition and orchestra and the emotional quality of the rock".

Let's face it, The Who simply kick ass. So do Hank Williams, Jimmy Web, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Brett James, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Don Henley (to name a few....)

Chris loves songs that come from a deep place and make him see reality in a new way, or enable him to feel a new feeling, or simply remind him of who he is as a human being. Music should open up our hearts and minds and serve to express what is already deep inside us.

Chris has always been drawn to Nashville, home of pure Americana and Country.

"I write all my material on a guitar - reduced to its essence.... resonating chord changes juxtaposed with choice lyrics, like fitting the pieces of a puzzle together. In the process hopefully a story is told or message conveyed. Once we go into the recording studio I just let the guys in Nashville do their thing. In the process simple guitar composition translates into what you hear on the CD".

Chris has been writing songs for over 25 years.

The greatest thrill of any songwriter or artist Is hearing your Ideas come to fruition In the form of mastered tracks. I have worked with Jim Cartwright and Fame & Fortune Entertainment over 20 years on various projects. He takes my raw Ideas and then brings In Top Rated Nashville Session Players, and we create " MAGIC".

Jim's production style pulls In sounds and Ideas that I had not considered, polishing and mixing tracks to remove the excess, so they become marketable, elevating raw songwriting so It shines as professional radio ready songs Is Outstanding.
A huge part of any successful business venture Is knowing the right people, and Jim knows the right people. Adding to that he has helped me with producing my vocals and my Intonation In order to release the best version of myself Into each song.

I wouldn't consider going to anyone else with my Ideas because as the saying goes "If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It" !! Plus the fact he's a great guy, and a great friend, and If you treat him nice he'll buy you a steak dinner :) As I'm writing this I have a new original 10 song project lined up with Jim, and I can't wait to get back Into the studio and create "MAGIC"..!!
